Specialist Dementia Care Home Gets Ready to Welcome First Residents

The Tunbridge Wells Care Centre, a specialist nursing home for the care of people with dementia, will be welcoming its first residents, George Squires and Violet Knowles on 23rd August.

Located on Upper Grosvenor Road, the Centre provides 70 beds in a purpose built facility, and is the fourth care home for leading Canford Healthcare Group, which currently cares for over 300 people in the South East.

The Tunbridge Wells Care Centre provides therapeutic activity programs, including sensory and complimentary therapies for dementia sufferers and has a dedicated wing for general nursing too.

Fiona Lydon, the award winning general manager for the Tunbridge Wells Care Centre, comments:
We are really excited about welcoming George and Violet to their new home next week. We are very proud of the start-of-the-art facilities and exceptional care we offer and we will do everything we can to make sure they feel right at home in no time at all.”
